What I Learned From the Organizational Behavior Class

I really enjoyed learning about organizational behavior because it helped me better understand not only how organizations work but also myself and people around me. I think the knowledge that one can gain from learning about this subject is priceless, as it engages both classic and emerging issues of today’s workplace and more. It helps to prepare students for the world of management but most importantly for the real world. I now completely understand why the phrase “The Real World” is a part of the book’s title. This book reflects on a lot of helpful topics including how managers apply organizational behavior knowledge in all kinds of situations and all types of organizations. It certainly focuses on timeless topics like personality, motivation, leadership, teamwork, communication, change, etc. I would most definitely encourage everyone to take this course or at least acquire this book, as it could become a guide for many work and even life related issues.
